Koharu Kusumi “Honesty” Scandal

So many scandals…are we still in January?

Does she still look like this? I don’t really follow her

What has she gone and done now. Talking honestly and rudely, Koharu? She’s always been more of an outspoken type of person – or more of a “Sadist” type according to the talk show hosts. I’m quite positive Koharu has no idea what she did wrong. She’s always been an airhead – but that’s her. Koharu wasn’t my first Morning Musume idol or anything, but she was prominent for me when I knew about Morning Musume. I came in when Yoshizawa graduated. So she’s been there since Day 1, for me. I never liked Koharu. She wasn’t for me. Kind of like Kojima from AKB – I’m not a fan of the airhead-idol. I’m not that shocked that she openly said this. Idols are humans too and they have feelings and they sometimes make mistakes. Though some call this a bad move on her part and it’s better if she never said anything, but I’m relatively happy she said something. We really don’t know these idols or anything about them. They’re a mystery to all of the fans and I’ve always wanted an idol to express their real feelings and emotions to their group they are a part of. If they say stuff like, “I love my group!”, or “I can’t live without them!” – I’ll take it into consideration, but it’s not like they’re going to say (while in the group), ” I fucking hate every member and the song’s we sing”. Put this into context when talking about your idols: when your friend says something like, “Gosh I’m fat and not pretty…”. The “normal” thing to say is, “Oh no you’re not! It’s what inside that counts.” The typical bullshit essentially. Now think about your idols…do you really think any are going to say anything bad about their job or music or members? No. Just plain no. And that applies to your friends. Your highly not going to be honest with your friend and actually say, “Yea…you know what? You’re not that pretty and losing weight couldn’t hurt”. In a “normal” situation that is considered rude. It’s our societies costumes to be nice and not be impolite and such, especially to a friend or family member – yes I know we have sarcasm in our language (English), but not everyone get’s or understand’s it. Koharu is sort of that “bitchy” friend you hate because they are always honest no matter what (that’s secretly me in real life…). She was rude and in a Japanese context – which I don’t agree that respect should be dealt with because of age – how she acted and the way she spoke is not customary. My issues with respect should be: you respect me, I respect you back (and vice versa). Why does age always play a number. If some elderly person was homophobic to me, why should I give them my respect? Because they are an elderly person? That doesn’t sound right to me – respect should be a give and take relationship. And that’s sort of where I stand with Koharu. I don’t think she was being rude to anyone – Tsunku, Sayumi, managers, etc…I think she told us her honest feelings. For once we get some honesty in the idol world and of course people don’t like it because she’s defying your holy image of an idol. I’m more than interested to know why she’s in Dream Musume – maybe money – I doubt she makes a ton at the moment. That’s her biggest contradiction in my opinion. Saying stuff like singing isn’t for you anymore and that “specific” male fans aren’t your thing, yet you’re in Dream Musume – which pretty much caters to older fans of Morning Musume (grandpa fans and uncle fans included). So she’s being a hypocrite in that case and I hold her on that. If anything, I’m happy she said something – as I said ealier. I’m of course not happy about her view of male fans – which is totally sexist and wrong. We’re not all perverts. It’s not like she lost me as a fan or anything – that would require me to be a fan in the first place – but I think she really needs to sit down and think about what she has said. While I’m happy she spoke her mind, one can’t forget how close-minded her mind is.

I returned home from running errands about 30 minutes ago and found a thick, manila envelope in my http://homework-writer.com mailbox
