Marina Diamandis or Marina and the Diamonds is a Welsh singer with a very romantic style. I really love her makeup. (Though I wear none.) She wears a lot of fake eyelashes, liquid eyeliner with a cat eye style, and a signature heart on her cheek. I’m a big fan of her blonde hair with black roots. Not a lot of people admire that look. (I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard how much roots suck!) I think it’s edgy and cool. Marina has a vintage style. Lots of lace and pink colors. She said in an interview that she based her new look off of Marilyn Monroe, Marie Antoinette and Madonna. Her whole message is about being an anti- Adele. She’s not the one who had their heart broken, she’s breaking the hearts!
To get Marina’s romantic look, try a cute pastel sweater, a silver skirt, and a pair of oxfords. Tie a ribbon in your hair, and add some lace gloves. Wear your heart on your cheek!
